TRAVEL HOTEL AMSTERDAM, Amsterdam

The hotels ends up being an excellent base for exploring Amsterdam on foot. Central Station is approximately 10 minutes away by foot, making Schiphol Airport accessible via direct trains. The Red Light District, numerous bars, coffee shops, and restaurants are within a 2-5 minute walk. The area is lively late into the night, so rooms facing the street may experience noise from revelry and early-morning glass collection. The immediate vicinity includes a supermarket and a coffee shop next door.

Every room includes a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a hairdryer in the bathroom. Rooms with en-suite bathrooms are available; basic rooms use shared facilities. Family rooms come with their own private bathroom. Room sizes vary, but many are compact - especially the smaller single, double, and quadruple rooms. Due to the lack of air conditioning, rooms can become very warm in summer; opening the small top-hung windows is the only ventilation option, and a fan is provided on request. Noise from the street and internal corridors can be an issue, particularly on lower floors. The steep and narrow stairs are a key consideration for anyone with mobility concerns or large luggage.

A 24-hour bar serves drinks (cash only) and offers a pool table and live sport broadcasts. A snack bar and vending machines provide basic refreshments. The front desk can assist with using a microwave. Numerous restaurants, pizzerias, and cafés are within a 5-minute walk, offering a wide range of cuisines from Argentinian to Indian. For those who prefer to self-cater, a supermarket is also nearby.

Recreation at the property centres around the bar, which has a billiards table and screens showing live sports events. There are no spa, wellness, or swimming pool facilities. The lively surroundings of the city centre are ideal for walking tours, bar-hopping, and visiting cultural landmarks such as the Royal Palace Amsterdam and Beurs van Berlage, both a short walk away.
