Print Works Hotel sits on a bustling central street, making it an ideal base for exploring Liverpool on foot. Lime Street Station is a 2-minute walk, providing direct rail connections across the region and to the airport via bus from the stop right outside. Liverpool ONE shopping centre is a 10-minute walk away, while Tate Liverpool and The Beatles Story museum are within 15 minutes. Albert Dock is a 10-minute walk or a short taxi ride. The hotel has no on-site parking, but a secure car park opposite (postcode L1 4AT) costs around £8-£12 for 24 hours, and the Mount Pleasant car park behind is approximately £5. The NCP car park is just 50 yards away.

Rooms vary from compact pod rooms and economy doubles without windows (on the lower ground floor) to spacious doubles, twins, triples, and family rooms with windows. All rooms include a private en-suite bathroom with either a shower or a bath/shower combination, body wash, and a hairdryer (available at reception). Bed quality varies: many find the beds comfortable, though some report mattresses that feel springy or have a dip. Rooms with a window are generally brighter and quieter regarding train noise. Economy rooms without a window are windowless and can feel stuffy; they have a shower only. Noise from the adjacent Merseyrail line can be audible in lower-ground rooms. For light sleepers, a room with a window above ground level is recommended. The quadruple room without a window has 3 beds.

Breakfast is available from approximately 9-11am on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. It is not included in the room rate and can be ordered and paid for on the day without pre-booking. Options include a full English breakfast, smaller breakfast items, and breakfast sandwiches, priced from £4 up to £8.99, with tea and coffee included. The menu also offers vegetarian and Full English/Irish options. A bar and lounge area and a shared lounge/TV area are available for guests to use. The hotel is surrounded by numerous restaurants and bars within a short walk, including Bold Street's diverse dining scene.
