QUALITY INN SACRAMENTO CONVENTION CENTER, Sacramento

The motel sits in downtown Sacramento, putting the Convention Center, State Capitol, historic Old Sacramento, Sutter's Fort and the California State Railroad Museum within walking distance. Nightlife, bars and restaurants are directly outside, including Republic Bar and Grill, Mikuni Japanese Restaurant and several other options within 0.5 km. The area has a higher presence of homeless activity and some car break-ins have occurred, so parking in the well-lit on-site lot is advisable. The bus to the airport (line 142) departs from a stop a 10-minute walk away. Walking to the Golden 1 Center takes about 10-15 minutes; the State Capitol is about a 10-15 minute walk.

Room options include double rooms with one or two beds. All rooms come with an en suite bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, and some include a bath. Extra amenities are a mini-fridge and microwave. The rooms are generally clean and comfortable, though the building is older. Some rooms have shown signs of wear: stained carpets, chipped paint, or mold on bathroom walls and ceilings. The air conditioning can be loud. Road-facing and ground-floor rooms may pick up street noise from traffic, bars and trains. A few rooms have been described as dark or with poor light. The lift provides access for those with luggage or limited mobility. Rooms with a balcony are not available.

The pool is outdoors and heated - open year-round with limited lounge chairs. The sun terrace and outdoor furniture provide space for relaxing. No spa, gym or fitness centre is on site. For evening entertainment, several bars with live music are within a short walk.

Wi-Fi is free in rooms but can be unstable for streaming. Parking is free but must be reserved; spaces are limited and the lot is open, so vehicles are exposed. A business centre is available free of charge. Daily housekeeping is provided, but the maids may enter before checkout time - using the hook latch is recommended. The 24-hour front desk can arrange luggage storage, and check-in staff are usually helpful. The lift and wheelchair-accessible rooms, braille/tactile signs, and grab rails make the property accessible. No laundry facilities are on site. The building has key card and key access, smoke alarms and fire extinguishers, but no cameras cover the parking area.
