The area has a higher presence of homeless activity and some car break-ins have occurred, so parking in the well-lit on-site lot is advisable. The bus to the airport (line 142) departs from a stop a 10-minute walk away. Walking to the Golden 1 Center takes about 10-15 minutes; the State Capitol is about a 10-15 minute walk.

Room options include double rooms with one or two beds. All rooms come with an en suite bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, and some include a bath. Extra amenities are a mini-fridge and microwave. The rooms are generally clean and comfortable, though the building is older. Some rooms have shown signs of wear: stained carpets, chipped paint, or mold on bathroom walls and ceilings.
