Third-deck staterooms open to the interior lobby, are slightly smaller, and many have river-facing windows. Fourth- and fifth-deck staterooms are accessed via stairs only and have doors opening to the exterior deck, offering more privacy. Bed comfort varies; some find the mattresses firm and supportive. The rooms slope with the ship's list, which is part of the historic character. No refrigerators or microwaves; earplugs are provided.

Breakfast is included in the room rate and features hot dishes served in The Pilothouse. The Pilothouse Restaurant offers American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a traditional setting.
