QUALITY INN & SUITES COLISEUM, Greensboro

The hotel is situated off West Meadowview Road, close to the convention center and within walking distance of several chain restaurants including Hooters, Biscuitville, and Chili's. The Greensboro Science Center is 12 km away, and Piedmont Triad International Airport is 14 km. The immediate area includes a mix of commercial properties; the parking lot and building exterior show signs of wear with potholes and peeling paint. For events at the coliseum, the location is highly convenient.

Rooms are dated and vary in maintenance. Each unit includes a private bathroom with shower, cable TV, and tea/coffee-making facilities. Lower-floor rooms open directly to the parking lot (motel-style), while second-floor rooms have interior corridors. Connecting rooms are available. Some rooms have a single bed, others two; suites offer additional space. Cleanliness and working condition of fixtures (toilets, showers, lamps) have been inconsistent. Windows and doors may have gaps. The overall feel is basic and needs renovation.

Breakfast includes waffles, cereal, muffins, fresh pastries, fruit, coffee, tea, and fountain drinks. It is self-service in a designated area. No hot dishes like eggs or bacon are offered. Several chain restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, offering lunch and dinner options. The hotel has a vending machine for drinks.

The hotel does not have recreational facilities such as a pool or gym. The former pool area is out of operation. Off-site activities include bowling, tennis, and live performances (additional charges may apply). Free walking tours are available. Water sport facilities are available on site for an extra charge.

Parking is free and private, with no reservation needed. The lot has potholes. WiFi is free throughout the property. A business centre and fax/photocopying are available free of charge. Laundry and meeting/banquet facilities are available for an additional fee. The 24-hour front desk can assist with check-in and requests. Security features include CCTV, key card access, and 24-hour security. A shared lounge/TV area is provided. Pets are not allowed.
