The immediate area has a visible homeless population and is considered unsafe for walking, especially after dark. Several fast-food restaurants (Burger King, McDonald's, Taco Bell) are within 1 km by car. Historic Ybor City (4 km) and the Seminole Hard Rock Casino (7-minute drive) are accessible by vehicle.

Room types include double rooms and suites. Bedding options vary; some rooms have a king bed while others offer two double beds. No rooms have a balcony, couch, or jacuzzi tub. Accessible rooms with a walk-in shower are available. The property has a main building and a detached back building; rooms in the back building have been reported to have issues with security, noise, and maintenance.
