QUINTINO B&B, Rome

Piazza Barberini and Villa Borghese are less than 10 minutes on foot, placing major sights like Trevi Fountain within a comfortable 2 km walk. The neighbourhood is quiet enough for rest yet surrounded by restaurants, cafés, a supermarket, and a famous pastry shop just steps away. Roma Termini provides direct rail and bus connections across the city and to the airports. An express bus to Fiumicino Airport departs from Termini. No on-site parking exists, so walking, metro, or taxi is the most practical option for exploring.

Each room includes a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee maker, microwave, and electric kettle. Some double and triple rooms offer a private balcony, though these balconies face internal courtyards rather than the street. All rooms are private with a shower, bidet, and toilet. The condition and size of the rooms can vary. Spacious triple and double units are available with a work desk and seating area. Central air conditioning is effective, and windows include mosquito nets. Fittings and furniture are older but function adequately for short stays. Road-facing rooms and those near shared walls may experience some noise from other occupants or external units.

Guests can prepare simple meals or snacks in the room using the available appliances. The property is surrounded by dining choices within 0.5 km, including pizzerias, a gelateria, a pasticceria, and Italian restaurants. A supermarket is also nearby for groceries. The common area provides a coffee machine, kettle, and microwave for shared use. For a sit-down breakfast, the pastry shop and cafés a few metres from the entrance offer coffee and pastries.

The property does not have a pool, gym, spa, or garden. The outdoor space consists of a terrace for guest use. The central location puts parks such as Villa Borghese within walking distance for outdoor relaxation or a stroll.

Daily housekeeping is provided free of charge, including towel changes and room tidying. The property features 24-hour security, a safety deposit box, and a lift. The reception is staffed and can speak English, Spanish, Hindi, Italian, and Filipino. Late check-in is possible by prior arrangement; the property sends self-check-in instructions for arrivals after 21:00. Luggage storage is available for free both before check-in and after check-out. A locker room is also accessible. The paid shuttle service covers airport pick-up and drop-off. Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, and CartaSi are accepted. A one-time double charge on a bank card has been reported.
