RED ROOF INN SANTA ANA, Santa Ana

The hotel sits in a business district off the I-5 freeway, making it a convenient base for accessing Disneyland Park (7 km), Disney's California Adventure (8 km), Anaheim Convention Center (6 km), and Honda Center (4 km). John Wayne Airport is only 3 km away. Direct ground-floor access means parking is immediately outside the room, which simplifies loading and unloading. Several restaurants are within a short walk, including Polly's Pies and Chipotle. A Westfield mall and the Discovery Cube science center are also nearby. Guests arriving by truck or bus will find limited designated parking available.

Guest rooms feature parquet or tiled floors and a seating area with a desk and chair. Bedding options include both double and king configurations, though room sizes vary and some units are described as compact. The microwave, refrigerator, and tea and coffee facilities add practical self-catering capability. Some rooms located near the main road may experience traffic noise, so request a quieter interior-facing unit if you are sensitive to sound. Room conditions can vary significantly, so visually inspecting the room upon arrival is advisable.

The lobby offers free coffeehouse-style coffee and tea each morning, but there is no hot breakfast or on-site restaurant. For meals, a variety of chains (Polly's Pies, Olive Garden, Chipotle, Panda Express, The Habit Burger Grill) are all within a 5-minute walk. Several additional dining options including a Denny's are within a few minutes' drive. A vending machine area with drinks and snacks provides a quick grab-and-go option. This setup works best for those who plan to eat out or stock their room's refrigerator.

The outdoor swimming pool operates daily from 10:00 to 21:00, surrounded by a fence for safety and featuring free sun loungers or beach chairs. A pool lift provides barrier-free access for those with mobility needs. No gym, spa, or additional leisure facilities are present. The pool area offers a straightforward outdoor leisure option for families and casual swimmers.

Internet access is free throughout the property. Parking is free and private but limited - a reservation is required, so book ahead to guarantee a space. The front desk is staffed 24 hours and can assist with check-in, questions, and luggage storage (subject to availability, call ahead). Coin-operated laundry is available ($1.50 dryer, $1.75 washer). Meeting and banquet facilities can be arranged for an additional charge. The property offers accessible parking, an accessible route to rooms, and a pool lift. Features like key card access and smoke alarms are standard.
