The hotel sits within a 5-minute walk of Canal Saint-Martin and Bassin de la Villette. Stalingrad Metro (line 2) gives direct access to the city centre in 30-40 minutes. Gare du Nord (TGV, Eurostar) is 11 minutes by metro. Les Docks de Paris Event Venue is 3 km away. The immediate area includes a large population of homeless individuals and groups, especially around the metro station and under bridges. Many find the atmosphere uncomfortable at night; using rideshares from the hotel is a common workaround. While the metro connection is excellent and a supermarket is 50 metres away, the area's social conditions make it less suitable for solo women or families after dark.

Rooms range from single to family connecting rooms. All are accessible by lift. Rooms facing the courtyard are quieter, while street-facing rooms can be very noisy at night with loud music and groups. There is no air conditioning; a fan is available on request. Rooms with windows that open are essential for ventilation, but open windows let in street noise. The bathrooms are private with a shower, but some have poor drainage, no shelf, or a loose shower head. Certain rooms feel quite compact, especially the double beds. Some rooms have an inner courtyard view; some upper-floor rooms offer a view of Sacré-Cœur. The decor is simple and clean, though some furnishings show wear. An iron and a kettle can be borrowed from reception.

Breakfast is a continental buffet. It must be reserved in advance if not included in your stay. There is no on-site restaurant, bar, or hot meal service. Several bakeries and cafés are within a 2-minute walk, and the lively Bassin de la Villette area (5 minutes on foot) has many restaurants and food options. The hotel does not have a fridge in the room, but the reception can store small items like baby milk.

The 24-hour reception is always staffed and can assist with check-in at any hour. Luggage storage is free but only available from Monday noon to Friday 2 p.m., with maximum storage until 2 p.m. on Fridays. Daily housekeeping is included. Pets are allowed for a supplement of €8 per night. The hotel has a lift, and facilities for disabled guests are available (one accessible room is located on the ground floor of a separate building, which some find less secure). Board games are available. There is a secure space for bicycles. No laundry facilities on site, but a self-service laundromat is a 4-minute walk away.
