RENT A ROOM - RESIDENCE CAIRE, MONTORGUEIL, Paris

The apartments are located in the heart of Paris, just 800 m from Pompidou Centre and 1 km from Place de la République. The Louvre Museum is a 20-minute walk away (1 km), and Chatelet-les-Halles station (RER A and B) is about 10 minutes on foot, offering direct services to CDG airport and Disneyland Paris. Several metro stops are also within a short walk, making car-free exploration practical. The immediate area is quiet and safe, with a bakery, coffee shop, and grocery store on the same street, plus numerous restaurants within 300 m.

Each unit is self-contained with a private bathroom featuring a shower, free toiletries, towels, and bed linen. The kitchen comes equipped with a stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee machine, and basic utensils, but dish soap and other consumables are not routinely provided. Beds are either a double (140 or 160 cm) or a sofa bed; some studios have two separate beds. Air conditioning and heating are available and function well. Standard rooms are on the third floor (no elevator), while superior options are on the second floor; a few first-floor apartments (7 & 8) also exist. Some apartments have a terrace or city views, but none have a balcony. Sound insulation between units and the corridor can be limited, and the building is an older walk-up (no elevator).

No breakfast or restaurant service is offered on-site. Each apartment includes a kitchen with a stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee machine, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. The surrounding area provides ample dining options within short walking distance - restaurants such as Restaurant Edgar, Le Beverly, Midi Pile, and a bakery and coffee shop are all within 300 m. For those wanting a fuller breakfast, nearby cafés offer a convenient alternative.

Free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms and is generally reliable. The 24-hour front desk and private check-in/check-out provide flexibility. Luggage storage is available for an additional charge - a useful option for early arrivals or late departures. The building does not have an elevator; all apartments are accessed by stairs. A washing machine is available in the building (shared) but not in each unit. The property is accessible via a code, and the host typically provides clear instructions for self check-in. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises.
