RESIDENCE INN BY MARRIOTT CLEARWATER BEACH, Clearwater Beach

The hotel sits on Coronado Drive, a 3-5 minute walk from Clearwater Beach through the adjacent Surf Style store. Clearwater Marine Aquarium is 900 metres away, and Encounters With Dolphins is 400 metres away. Sand Key Park is 2 km from the property. The Clearwater Jolley Trolley stops across the street, providing a cheap way to reach nearby coastal towns. Many restaurants, bars, and shops are within a few blocks, including a Starbucks and grocery stores. St Petersburg-Clearwater Airport is 15 km away; Tampa International Airport is the other major nearby option. The area is highly walkable for beach and dining, but using a car requires the paid valet parking.

All units include a fully equipped kitchenette with stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, and kitchenware. Studios are spacious, and one-bedroom suites have a separate bedroom with a door separating it from the living area. Sofa beds are available in select suites but are often noted as having thin mattresses with exposed springs. Balconies are available in specific room types (look for "with a balcony" in descriptions), and about half overlook the pool rather than the harbour. There are four two-bedroom suites. Rooms feature air conditioning, tea and coffee makers, and streaming-capable flat-screen TVs. Bathrooms have private showers, but many do not have exhaust fans, leading to steam buildup. Some units are wheelchair accessible with adapted baths, roll-in showers, and grab rails. The property is non-smoking throughout, with a designated smoking area outside.

The complimentary breakfast buffet runs Monday-Friday 6:30-10:00 AM and Saturday-Sunday 7:00-10:00 AM, offering a rotating selection of scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, make-your-own waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, and pastries. The Coastal Bar and Grill is open daily 12:00-10:00 PM for lunch and dinner, serving American cuisine at the poolside bar area. Starbucks is located in the lobby for coffee and snacks throughout the day. For self-catering, the full kitchenettes in the rooms are well-stocked, and several grocery stores are within walking distance. Many restaurants, from fast food to seafood, are clustered within a 5-minute walk, including Coco Coronado, Badfins Food + Brew, and SHOR American Seafood Grill.

The outdoor heated swimming pool is open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with sun loungers, beach towels, and a shallow end for children. The pool area is on the bay side and offers views of the harbour. The fitness centre is free and open 24 hours, equipped with treadmills, free weights (5-23 kg), and a bench. There is no spa or hot tub on site. Bicycle rental is available for a fee, and the hotel has an outdoor fireplace and sun terrace. The hotel does not provide direct beach access, but the sand is a short walk across the street.

The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/out, an ATM, and a safety deposit box. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. The business centre, fax/photocopying, and meeting/banquet facilities are available for an additional charge. Laundry, dry cleaning, and ironing services are offered for a fee. Grocery delivery can be arranged. The hotel is wheelchair accessible with features such as a lowered bathroom sink, raised toilet, grab rails, and accessible parking. Valet parking costs $41 per night and is required for all vehicles. A luggage storage service is available for after check-out. The property is non-smoking throughout, with a designated smoking area. Pets are allowed on request with a $125 cleaning fee. The lobby has a shared lounge/TV area and a minimarket on site.
