Hotel Details

Location

Located in the Polaris district, the hotel is within walking distance of Polaris Fashion Place and numerous restaurants, 22 km from John Glenn Airport.
The immediate Polaris area offers over a dozen restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk, a two-level shopping mall, Costco, a movie theatre, and entertainment like Top Golf. Key attractions farther afield include the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium (14 km), Ohio Historical Center (18 km), and Zip Zone Tours (6 km). John Glenn Columbus International Airport is 22 km away. While the area is car-friendly with access to I-71, many local destinations are walkable, making it practical to leave the car parked.

Accommodation

Suites include a full kitchen (stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher), separate living area with sofa bed, private bathroom with bath/shower, air conditioning, and flat-screen TV.
Room types range from King Studio Suites (2-burner cooktop, no oven) to two-bedroom suites that are often fully booked. All rooms are recently renovated, carpeted, and spacious. Beds are comfortable with soft pillows, and the bathroom includes a hairdryer. The lift provides access to upper floors but may occasionally be out of service - advise the front desk about mobility needs at check-in. Noise levels are generally low; requesting a higher floor can minimize hallway sounds. The kitchen is stocked with cookware and utensils for basic meals.

Dining

A complimentary American breakfast buffet is served each morning. The hotel has no restaurant or bar; the Market Place sells beer and wine.
The breakfast buffet includes hot items, waffles (available on weekends), fresh fruit, yogurt, and pastries. The dining area is compact and can become crowded during peak hours; food replenishment may lag. For additional variety, dozens of restaurants are within walking distance, from fast casual to full-service options like Atlas Tavern and Benihana. The Market Place offers beer and wine for purchase.

Leisure

The indoor heated swimming pool (open until 11 PM) and fitness centre are available at no extra cost. Bicycle rental and a basketball court are on site.
The pool has depths of 0.9 to 1.2 m, suitable for children. There is no hot tub. The fitness centre provides basic equipment. Outdoor amenities include a fire pit, barbecue area, and furniture, though the propane heaters and fire pit may not always be operational. The basketball court adds recreational value. All facilities are first-come, first-served.

Amenities

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/check-out. On-site parking costs US$10 per day. Pets welcome with a one-time fee.
For business use, a business centre with free fax/photocopying and meeting/banquet facilities (additional charge) is available. Cleaning services (laundry, dry cleaning, ironing) can be arranged for a fee. A safety deposit box is free of charge. Grocery deliveries are also possible for an additional fee. The hotel is accessible with accessible parking and a lift, though the lift may occasionally be out of service - notify the front desk about mobility needs. Wi-Fi is strong throughout the building, suitable for streaming and remote work.

Top Strategic Tips

  • 01

Park in well-lit spots and remove valuables from your vehicle, as the paid on-site lot ($10/day) has experienced break-ins and lacks security cameras.

  • 02

Confirm availability and book a two-bedroom suite well in advance if you need separate sleeping quarters, as these units are in high demand.

  • 03

Request housekeeping and extra amenities (pillows, blankets) at check-in, as on-request fulfillment can be inconsistent.

  • 04

To ensure a relaxed breakfast experience, consider arriving early in the service window when the dining area is less crowded and the buffet is fully stocked.
