TEMPLE PLACE SUITES 2+3, Boston

This central position places guests within easy walking distance of major attractions: the Old State House is a 7-minute walk, the Custom House less than 1 km, and the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum is 1 km away. Boston South Station is 700 metres from the property, offering rail connections, and Logan Airport is 7 km away. The property is just off the main shopping street and near several T (subway) stops, making car-free exploration of the city straightforward. The surrounding area includes a busy bus stop directly across the street, which can create noise and a lively atmosphere.

Rooms come with one double bed, a flat-screen TV, a sofa, a safe deposit box, and a kitchenette (fridge, microwave, coffee maker) for light meal preparation. The shared bathroom features a bath or shower; toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) are provided but may not always be clearly labeled. Some rooms have a window facing an air shaft with little natural light, while others have larger windows and city views - requesting a room on the street-side can improve brightness. The air conditioning units are portable and can be noisy. Rooms can feel compact, especially when staying with multiple people and luggage. Luggage storage in the room is limited; consider using the paid early check-in luggage service if arriving before 16:00.

Each room has a kitchenette equipped with a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, though cookware and utensils are limited. Several cafés and restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, including Cafe 26, Herrera's Mexican Grill, Democracy Brewing, and Boston Chops, providing plenty of variety for dining out. The central location also puts many eateries around Boston Common and the Freedom Trail within easy reach.

Guests looking for leisure activities can enjoy walking and boating options near the property. Boston Common, just a 4-minute walk away, offers green space, walking paths, and seasonal events. The Freedom Trail is steps away and provides a self-guided tour of Boston's historic sites. No on-site wellness facilities such as a gym, pool, or spa are present.

The property features free high-speed WiFi throughout. All rooms are air-conditioned (via portable units) and include a washing machine. Coin-operated laundry on every floor (with quiet hours from 8 PM to 8 AM). Self-check-in is entirely keyless - a door code is sent by text message before arrival. There are no staff on site, but the property is responsive via text for questions and issues. A paid early luggage drop service ($12) lets guests leave bags in their room before the official 16:00 check-in. Payment is by major credit cards only. No parking is provided. The elevator has been reported as unreliable.
