HOTEL RICHLAND LES, New York

The hotel sits at the intersection of Chinatown and the Lower East Side, placing you within a 5-minute walk of the East Broadway subway station (F line) and a 16-minute walk of Bloomingdale's. The Manhattan Bridge is around the corner, and the Brooklyn Bridge is about 2 km away - both walkable. LaGuardia Airport is 16 km north; the hotel does not provide a shuttle, but a private car service can be arranged for an additional charge. The surrounding streets are dense with Asian restaurants, bakeries, and markets, and the area is well served by public transit. The National September 11 Memorial & Museum is 2 km south, and the Empire State Building is roughly 3 km north. At night, the immediate block can feel a bit gritty, but the area remains active with foot traffic and is generally safe.

Room types include double rooms with one full/double bed or two double beds, plus a limited number of queen-bed rooms with a walk-in shower. Bathrooms are private; most have a bathtub with a showerhead, while a few queen rooms have a walk-in shower. Each room has air conditioning, heating, a tea and coffee maker, a safe, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Storage is limited - there is no closet; only a few hooks and small bedside drawers are provided. The rooms are small by Manhattan standards, and photos may make them appear larger than they are. Upper-floor rooms facing the Manhattan or Brooklyn Bridge offer city views; lower-floor rooms may face adjacent walls. Rooms on the lobby level or near the elevator can be noisy. Daily housekeeping is provided, though the consistency of linen changes and bathroom cleaning can vary. A mini refrigerator is available on request at no extra charge.

Wi-Fi is available free of charge in all rooms and throughout the hotel. The 24-hour front desk offers concierge services, express check-in/check-out, and a tour desk. Luggage storage is provided free of charge before check-in and after check-out, and bags are stored in a secure area behind the desk. Daily housekeeping is included. Safety features include 24-hour security, CCTV in common areas, key card access, smoke alarms, and in-room safes. The hotel is wheelchair accessible, with a lift from the ground floor to the 11th floor and adapted bathrooms with grab rails. Pets are not allowed. There is no on-site or partner parking, but the Champion Parking Garage at 2 Division Street (1-minute walk) operates 24/7 with a daily rate of around $35-$39 for a regular sedan. The hotel does not have laundry facilities for guest use.
