HOTEL RITA MAJOR, Florence

The hotel sits in a quiet residential neighbourhood, approximately 1 km from the historic centre. The Duomo is a 15-20 minute walk away, and the Santa Maria Novella train station is about 20 minutes on foot or a short bus ride. Bus lines 31/32/14/6/C stop directly outside the hotel, providing easy access to the city centre and the station. Several restaurants, cafés, and a gelateria are within a 5-minute walk, and the area feels safe and quiet.

The breakfast buffet includes croissants, bread, cheese, ham, yogurt, cereals, juices, and fresh fruit, along with excellent cappuccinos and Americanos. The setting is a charming veranda surrounded by greenery. For other meals, the hotel has a bar and snack bar, and there is no restaurant on site, but a pizzeria is right next door and numerous other dining options are within a short walk (Trattoria Cesarino, La Raccolta, etc.). In-room breakfast is available for an additional charge, and wine/champagne can be ordered from the bar.

The private garden is a highlight, with tables and chairs where guests can enjoy coffee, read, or socialize. The terrace offers additional outdoor seating. For families, there are board games and kids' outdoor play equipment. No wellness facilities such as spa, pool, or gym are available on site.
