Set back from the main beachfront strip, the hotel sits on a peaceful side street that feels removed from the highway noise yet is just a short stroll to the sand. The area is ideal for walking: fresh seafood restaurants, cafes, a CVS, and the Bonnet House Museum and Gardens (2 km) are all within easy reach. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is 17 km away, and the cruise terminal is also close, making this a practical base for pre- or post-cruise stays.

All rooms and suites are equipped with a private bathroom, air conditioning, a coffee machine, refrigerator, and free toiletries. The renovated King rooms offer a modern finish, while select suites - including one-bedroom and two-bedroom configurations - include a full kitchen with stovetop, oven, dishwasher, and cookware. The two-bedroom suite sleeps up to 6 adults and 2 children, with the bathroom accessed from the hallway rather than through a bedroom. King Deluxe rooms and Economy Queens are in the older 709 building; these are slightly less modern but remain clean and practical. Some rooms open directly onto garden or pool views, and ground-floor rooms offer direct pool access.

The hotel does not serve breakfast or operate a restaurant or bar, but the immediate area compensates with a strong restaurant scene. Within 0.5 km, options include Premiere Cafe and Bar, The Royal Palms Resort Bar & Grill, Terra Mare, and Wild Thyme. For a more upscale meal, S3-Sun Surf Sand is 3 km away. Several cafes and coffee shops are also within a 5-10 minute walk, making it easy to find a morning coffee or a quick lunch. Guests with a full kitchen will find the supermarket about 2 km away for self-catering.

The heated outdoor pool is open year-round and features a shallow end, making it suitable for all ages. Plenty of sun loungers and shaded seating are available around the pool area, which is described as clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Sun umbrellas can be hired on site.
