STARDUST HOTEL, Miami Beach

The property sits on Collins Avenue, placing it right in the heart of the Art Deco District. The white sands of Miami Beach are a short five-minute walk away, and Lummus Park with its oceanfront promenade is one block east. Ocean Drive's restaurants, bars, and nightlife are within a few minutes' stroll, yet the hotel itself is situated on a quieter block. Lincoln Road Mall and the Miami Beach Convention Center are both less than 3 km (about 3 km) away. For exploring further afield, the free Miami Beach trolley stops on Washington Avenue, a short walk from the hotel, providing easy access to South Beach and beyond. PortMiami is a 15-minute drive, and Miami International Airport is 25 minutes by car or taxi.

Breakfast is served in a small area and consists of a simple continental buffet (eggs, bread, pastries, hot drinks), with some fresh items like omelettes and pancakes prepared to order. The selection is limited and may not suit everyone. Numerous dining options are within a three-minute walk, including Mango's Tropical Cafe, Bolivar Restaurant Bar Lounge, News Cafe, and Primo Bakery, as well as several pizzerias and a café. The hotel's location in the Art Deco District means a wide variety of cuisines and price points are accessible on foot along Ocean Drive and Collins Avenue. The room's kitchenette also allows guests to prepare simple meals.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and the building is fully air-conditioned. Daily housekeeping is included, though some guests report that thoroughness can vary. A concierge service provides local recommendations and tour desk assistance. Express check-in/out and luggage storage are available, which is helpful for early arrivals or late departures. The hotel has a lift, making upper floors accessible. Safety features include a safety deposit box (free), CCTV in common areas, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. There is no on-site parking; the nearest public parking garage is on 7th Street between Collins and Washington Avenues (approximately 6 minutes' walk), costing $2 per hour.
