Fort Lauderdale Beach and the beachfront promenade are a 2-minute walk. The upscale Galleria Mall, many restaurants, cafes, and bakeries are within a 5- to 10-minute walk. Hugh Taylor Birch State Park is a 5-minute walk. The area is well regarded for its safety and walkability, making it easy to explore on foot. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is 10 km away (about $25 by taxi). No on-site shuttle is available, so ride-shares or taxis are the standard transfer option. Public parking is available on-site for $10 per day.

Room types range from standard king and double queen studios to one-bedroom suites with a kitchenette. Studios feature a microwave, coffee maker, and mini-fridge. One-bedroom suites include a full cooktop and extra space. All rooms have air conditioning (wall-unit style, which can be noisy) and a private bathroom. Towels are provided but can be small. The property has a motel-style layout: room entrances open to the outdoors, with upper-level rooms accessible via an external walkway. There are no in-room closets; most rooms have a few hangers on a wall-mounted rack or a small shelf. Many rooms are described as spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. Some rooms and furniture show wear (peeling paint, rust, worn bedding). There is no elevator; carrying luggage to upper floors is required. Road-facing or pool-bar-facing rooms can be noisy.

La Villa Tapas offers a menu of American dishes for lunch and during cocktail hour. The pool bar is open from 16:00 to 23:00 on Thursday and 13:00 to 23:00 on Friday through Sunday, with last food orders at 22:00. A continental breakfast is not served on-site, but several cafés and bakeries-such as Village Café, Archibald's Bakery, and The Plaza Bistro-are within a 5-minute walk. The surrounding area is filled with restaurants, from casual to upscale, within a few blocks.

All three outdoor pools are open year-round and equipped with sun loungers, umbrellas, and fresh pool towels. One of the pools is heated. The pool bar serves drinks Thursday through Sunday evenings. A small fitness centre is available. Spa services are offered on-site by appointment (not free of charge). There is no hot tub, sauna, or steam room on the property.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. The 24-hour front desk can assist with concierge services and luggage storage (free). Daily housekeeping is included.
