Rooms vary in size and position: upper-floor rooms may offer garden or city views, while some standard rooms are in the basement level and have restricted natural light. King rooms on the second floor have baths, and all king rooms have openable windows. Executive and four-poster rooms are larger, with views of Queen Street Gardens or the New Town. Family rooms have one double and two single beds. A number of rooms are located in an annex a few doors away. All rooms include a safe (laptop-sized items can be stored at reception), hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and a coffee machine. No air conditioning; electric fans are available.
