Cumberland Hotel occupies two Victorian buildings in a quiet, attractive West End location. Princes Street and the city centre are reachable on foot in about 20 minutes, while Haymarket Railway Station is less than 10 minutes away - ideal for direct trains across Scotland. The AirLink 100 bus stops directly outside and runs every 10 minutes to Edinburgh Airport (16-minute journey). Local buses 26 and 31 also stop at the door, providing frequent service to the city centre, zoo, and surrounding areas. For drivers, private on-site parking is available but limited. Several restaurants, cafés, and a Tesco Express are within a 5-minute walk.

Accommodation is spread across two historic buildings, offering a mix of double, twin, triple, quadruple, and family rooms. Many rooms are large and some feature original architectural details. Family rooms can sleep up to 5 and may include a mini fridge and larger Smart TV.
