The neighbourhood is lively and can be noisy, so it is best suited to visitors who plan to dine and socialise locally rather than to those seeking a quiet retreat.

Room sizes vary significantly - some are spacious and recently renovated, while others are described as very small (around 1.5m wide) with limited storage and no wardrobe or full-length mirror. Some rooms have a small balcony (single rooms do not). Noise is a recurring theme: walls are thin, and sound from the corridor, neighbouring rooms and street-level bars can be heard clearly. Rooms numbered C01 and those near the entrance are particularly exposed to door-slamming and street noise. While daily cleaning is provided, some units show signs of wear - chipped paint, mould in shower seals and broken door fittings. A bathroom with a spacious shower and good water pressure is possible, but other bathrooms are cramped with limited shelf space. Air conditioning is present in all rooms. Light sleepers should request a room on a higher floor or facing away from the street, and should bring earplugs.
