SAINT GEORGES LAFAYETTE, Paris

The hotel is on a quiet street between Montmartre and the Opéra Garnier district. Pigalle Metro station (line 2) is a 3-minute walk, providing direct access to many of Paris's attractions. Gare du Nord and Gare Saint-Lazare are both about 1 km away, a 15-minute walk. Charles de Gaulle Airport is reachable via RER B to Gare du Nord then Metro 2 to Pigalle. The area is lively with numerous cafés, bakeries, and restaurants within a short walk, and the Moulin Rouge is 650 m away. The location is well-suited for exploring the city on foot or by public transport.

Classic double rooms measure 11-14.3 m2 and offer courtyard or street views; some ground-floor rooms have portable air conditioning. Single rooms are 12 m2, all overlooking the courtyard, and one includes a balcony. Twin and triple rooms (up to 18.7 m2) are available. All rooms have private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, heating, and reversible air-conditioning (about 80% of rooms have built-in AC; the rest use portable units). Some rooms lack windows entirely, and soundproofing between rooms is minimal - internal noise from neighboring rooms and corridors can be disruptive. Cleanliness standards vary; some units have been noted for mold, dust, or stained linens. Room size is compact, typical for central Paris; guests seeking more space should consider larger room categories.

Breakfast is a buffet served from 7:00 (approx.) at a nearby partner hotel. The selection includes fresh bread, croissants, pastries, cereals, plain and fruit yoghurt, orange and apple juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sliced ham, and Emmental cheese. Children under 12 pay €6. There is no restaurant or bar on site, but the surrounding neighborhood offers many dining options within a few minutes' walk.
