In the heart of London's iconic Westminster district, this Victorian hotel puts you steps from the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, and Big Ben. St James's Park, ideal for a morning stroll, is a 5-minute walk away, and the nearest tube station (St James's Park) is about 2 minutes on foot, providing direct access across the city and to Heathrow via the Piccadilly line by one change. Many of London's top sights, including Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, and Trafalgar Square, are within a 10-15 minute walk. Oxford Street's shops are about a 30-minute walk, making this an excellent base for sightseeing without needing a car.

Rooms are decorated in a classic British style and include private bathrooms with either a bath or shower (only three rooms have a shower-only setup). All rooms are non-smoking and have opening windows for ventilation, though windows can only open slightly for safety. Air conditioning is available in most but not all rooms; on request, Dyson air tower fans provide additional fresh air circulation. Each room has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a tea and coffee maker, a safe, a hairdryer, and a work desk. Superior rooms offer king-size beds, a chair, and more floor space; standard double and twin rooms are compact but functional. Family rooms are available and include a sofa bed. Some bathrooms have been recently upgraded with good ventilation, while a few may feel dated. Beds are generally comfortable, though a small number of rooms may have softer mattresses. Lift access to all floors is available.

Breakfast is included in most room rates and is served in the pub from 7:00-11:00 Monday-Friday and 8:00-11:00 Saturday-Sunday (Bank holidays included). The menu offers a choice of full English/Irish breakfast, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, plus a self-service continental buffet with pastries, yoghurt, fruit, and cereals. Cooked-to-order items include Eggs Benedict and omelettes. The pub also serves lunch and dinner daily (11:00-22:00 Monday-Saturday, until 21:30 Sunday) with home-cooked British classics like deep-filled pies, fish and chips, and Sunday roasts. A range of award-winning ales, fine wines, and cask beer is available. Dinner portions can be small relative to price, so plan accordingly. The restaurant gets busy, particularly on weekends and before theatre shows.

No dedicated wellness facilities are available on site. However, the hotel's location directly opposite St James's Park offers a convenient and scenic spot for morning runs, leisurely walks, or simply enjoying green space in the heart of London. The park features a lake, flower beds, and views of Buckingham Palace. For more extensive leisure, the hotel's pub and restaurant provide a cosy setting for relaxing with a drink after a day of sightseeing.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas. The 24-hour front desk can arrange taxis, provide local maps, and assist with special requests. Luggage storage is available free of charge before check-in and after check-out, and secure storage is also offered if you return later that day. Daily housekeeping is standard, and cots (baby travel beds) are available on request. The hotel provides fax/photocopying services for business needs.
