Westminster Abbey is less than 2 km away, and Buckingham Palace is a 25-30 minute walk. The neighbourhood is safe and well-served by an extensive public transport network: in addition to the tube, a 5-minute walk leads to the Imperial War Museum and numerous bus routes. For airport transfers, London City Airport is 11 km away, and Waterloo Station provides direct trains to Gatwick Airport (roughly 1 hour 10 minutes). Although the immediate street can be busy with traffic and sirens, the location is exceptionally walkable to major landmarks and the South Bank, making it ideal for tourists who prefer to maximise time sightseeing.

Available room types include double, twin, and single rooms, some with windows and some without (windowless rooms are typically in the basement). A few double rooms on upper floors offer views of the London Eye.
