The Vail Transportation Center is across the street, providing direct bus links to Lionshead and regional shuttles. Eagle County Regional Airport is 46 km away; a paid shuttle service (Epic Mountain Express) is the recommended transfer, as the hotel does not operate its own airport shuttle. The area is walkable to countless restaurants and shops, and a free local shuttle stops nearby, making car-free stays practical. For skiing, Riva Bahn-6 is 600 metres away and Adventure Ridge is 1 km.

Rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with private bathrooms that include heated floors, spacious vanities, and either a bath or shower. All units come with air conditioning, a TV with cable channels, ironing facilities, and a mini fridge. Some rooms offer a seating area with a sofa and chairs, and many have a fireplace-particularly useful for a cozy winter stay. A limited number of rooms have small step-out balconies, which can be requested but not guaranteed. The bathrooms are all one area (no separate toilet room). The property is well-maintained and quiet, with many rooms offering views of the surrounding mountains rather than a direct Vail Mountain view. For light sleepers, rooms facing the road may be less suitable; requesting a higher floor and a room away from noise can improve rest.

The spread typically includes a hot main dish that changes daily (such as custom omelettes, biscuits and gravy, or waffles), plus continental options like pastries, yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, juices, and good coffee. There is no restaurant on site for lunch or dinner, but the hotel offers room service with a menu of beer and wine at reasonable prices. The surrounding Vail Village has dozens of restaurants and cafés within a short walk, including Bol, Pepi's, Sweet Basil, and Up the Creek.
