The hotel is on Avenida Mexico, a main thoroughfare along the west coast, and a bus stop directly in front connects to downtown, the Malecón, and beaches like Sayulita. Camarones Beach is a 5-minute walk away, and the Malecón is about a 2 km stroll or a quick bus ride. The Versalles neighbourhood offers a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and shops within a 5-minute walk, including Cafe Roma and several local taquerías. The area feels safe and is well served by public transport, but the road is a major bus and truck route, which generates significant noise day and night. There is no on-site parking, so using the bus or taxis is the most practical way to get around.

Rooms are generally large by local standards and include a private bathroom with a shower, free toiletries, and towels. Most rooms have a private balcony - some with city views - and a refrigerator. The building is older: the interior shows its age, and soundproofing is very limited. Rooms facing the main road are exposed to constant traffic noise and dust, making earplugs advisable for light sleepers. The air conditioning works well, and some units also have a fan. Bed firmness varies, with some mattresses described as very firm or worn. Some rooms have kitchenettes equipped with a sink and fridge but no stove, microwave, or utensils. Housekeeping does not include towel replacement or daily servicing unless requested.

Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 10:00 at an additional cost of 180 MXN. The offering is described as simple and basic, with a limited menu. A free self-service coffee, tea, and filtered water station is available in the lobby 24/7, and a microwave is also provided for guest use. The pool bar serves drinks, and the area is well maintained and often described as pleasant and romantic in the evenings. However, the pool is shaded for much of the day, which can keep the water cool. An additional charge applies for the billiards table. The hotel does not have a gym, spa, or other leisure facilities.
