HOTEL MOZART, Vienna

The hotel sits in the 9th district, a quiet residential area 200 metres from the Danube Canal. Friedensbrücke metro station (line U4) is a 3-minute walk, taking you to the city centre, Naschmarkt, Secession, and Schönbrunn Palace without changing lines. Tram D stops outside, linking to Hauptbahnhof and major sights. Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof across the street offers regional connections. A Billa supermarket is on the corner, and several restaurants, cafés, and fast-food options are within 300 m. The area is safe to walk through at night. A construction site in front of the hotel may cause noise from 6 am; the street renovation is ongoing.

Single and double rooms feature a seating area, wardrobe, parquet floors, and a private bathroom with bath or shower and hairdryer. Double beds consist of two separate mattresses. Business rooms renovated in 2016 offer free WiFi, a coffee machine with capsules, and a daily newspaper. Standard rooms may feel dated with older furniture, but are generally clean and spacious with high ceilings. Inner courtyard rooms are quiet, while road-facing or construction-side rooms can be noisy from early morning. Some bathrooms are compact, with a handheld shower over the tub; a few have visible wear. Heating and air conditioning are available but can be loud. No fridge, kettle, iron, or minibar in rooms - reception can store chilled items.

Breakfast is a continental buffet with bread rolls, pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, yoghurt, cereal, and good coffee - the baked goods are a highlight. It costs €15 per person and must be selected at booking. The bar/lounge area is open for drinks. Packed lunches can be requested for day trips. Several restaurants, cafés, and fast-food options are within a 2-5 minute walk, including MAST Weinbistro, Veggiezz, and Aida Café. There is no in-room dining or minibar; the hotel does not offer a shuttle but can help arrange public transport tickets for dining excursions.

The hotel does not have a pool, spa, gym, or sauna. However, the Donauradweg bicycle trail runs right outside the hotel, and free secure bicycle storage is provided on site. The Danube Canal is a 1-minute walk, offering a pleasant path for jogging or walking. The city's main parks, like Augarten, are within a 10-minute walk or a short tram ride.
