SPARK BY HILTON DES PLAINES CHICAGO O'HARE, Des Plaines

Spark by Hilton sits in Des Plaines, just off the expressway, making it a practical base for overnight layovers and events at Donald E. Stephens Convention Center and Rosemont Theatre, both under a 5-minute drive. The free airport shuttle (running 24/7 every half hour on the :10 and :40 schedule) provides direct access to O'Hare's Blue Line for downtown Chicago in about 45 minutes. For Allstate Arena, the shuttle does not serve the venue, but it is within a 15-minute walk (or a short taxi/ride-share). A bus stop directly outside the hotel connects to the Rosemont Blue Line station. The neighbourhood offers a few nearby dining options - Adreani's Pizzeria is 0.5 km away, and Dave & Buster's is 1 km - but the location is car-dependent for grocery shopping or wider restaurant choice.

Breakfast is served in the Club Room from 7 to 10 am and includes eggs, sausage, waffles, muffins, yogurt, fruit, cereal, juice, coffee, and tea. During the transition period, a lighter grab-and-go selection is provided. The breakfast is adequate for a pre-flight start but limited in protein variety - hard-boiled eggs are the only hot protein when the full hot buffet is unavailable. Tiffany's Diner, located directly across the parking lot, offers breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner with an American menu, and is open daily from 6 am to 9 pm. For other options, Adreani's Pizzeria (0.5 km) and Dave & Buster's (1 km) are within walking distance. No minibar or lobby snack shop is available.

The 24-hour front desk can arrange the complimentary O'Hare shuttle (request by phone after landing - pick up at Door 1 for domestic, Door 5E for international). The shuttle does not serve the Allstate Arena or Rivers Casino; taxi/ride-share is the alternative. On-site parking is private and must be reserved - one spot per room is included, with additional/extended parking at $25/night. An electric vehicle charging station and accessible parking spaces are available. The fitness centre is open 24/7 with basic cardio equipment. Wi-Fi is free throughout the building and generally reliable. The business centre offers printing services. Guest laundry is self-service coin-operated. Accessible features include lifts and accessible parking. Housekeeping is generally daily but can be inconsistent - requests for fresh towels or supplies should be made at the front desk.
