SPRINGHILL SUITES BY MARRIOTT HOUSTON WESTCHASE, Houston

The hotel is situated near the Westchase district, offering convenient access to major highways for quick travel around Houston. It is 35 km from William P. Hobby Airport and within a 15-minute drive of the Galleria mall and downtown. The surrounding area is safe and provides many restaurants and shops, including Vietnamese options on Bellaire Boulevard just two blocks away. Free private parking is available on site with a gated lot, but vehicle break-ins have occurred, so parking in well-lit areas is advised.

Rooms are studio-style suites featuring a separate living area with a sofa bed, work desk, and a 43-inch flat-screen TV with cable channels. Each room includes air conditioning, heating, a microwave, a compact refrigerator, and an en-suite private bathroom. All rooms are non-smoking and have carpeted floors. The Queen Studio offers two queen beds and a sofa bed. Thin walls between rooms can allow noise from neighbors, making upper-floor rooms or rooms away from high-traffic areas a better choice for light sleepers. Some rooms may have a musty odor or dated carpeting, and the glass shower divider can rattle with movement. Hot water may take 10-15 minutes to reach upper-floor rooms.

The hotel features an indoor swimming pool and a 24-hour fitness centre, both free for guests. The pool is open but not heated, and the spa and hot tub are no longer available. The fitness centre is accessible around the clock and includes standard exercise equipment. There is also a garden with outdoor seating and a bar area that is currently closed.

Wi-Fi is free in all rooms. Free private parking is available on site with no reservation needed. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in and check-out. A business centre with fax and photocopying services is available for an additional charge, as are meeting or banquet facilities. The property has a lift, non-smoking rooms throughout, and security features including CCTV, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. Pets are not allowed. Minimum check-in age is 21. Accepted payment methods include American Express, Visa, Diners Club, Discover, and MasterCard.
