A bus stop directly outside the motel connects to the city's bus and tram network, with a $6 day pass covering most lines. Several restaurants and a grocery store are within a short walk, especially on Chestnut Street. The walk to Lombard Street and Fisherman's Wharf is feasible on foot, though some uphill stretches make carrying large luggage less practical. The area is well regarded for safety and convenience.
