STAR VATICAN ROOMS, Rome

The location is a top advantage for sightseeing: you can walk to St. Peter's Basilica in about 5 minutes and reach Castel Sant'Angelo in 15 minutes. The metro station connects directly to the Spanish Steps in three stops, and the area is packed with restaurants, shops, and a pedestrian shopping street. The neighbourhood is considered safe and family-friendly, with many eateries within a two-block radius. For longer distances, Uber and taxis are easy to hail, and the paid airport shuttle can be booked. The property sits on a secondary road, which helps reduce street noise, and the building is a well-kept, gentlemanly palazzo.

Rooms are generally clean, modern, and spacious, with very comfortable beds and pillows. Each room includes a desk, free Wi-Fi, free toiletries, and a hairdryer. Some rooms are located in a separate building at Via Germanico 162, 200 metres from the main check-in address; check-in always takes place at the main building. A small fridge is provided in each room. The building has a lift, and there are ground-floor apartments available for those who prefer stairs. Room sizes vary, with some described as spacious and others as compact but functional. Soundproofing is generally good, though rooms facing the main road may experience some exterior noise. Note that no rooms have a balcony.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas. Daily housekeeping includes bed-making and towel changes, though room cleaning is not always thorough and guests should request extra attention if needed. Luggage storage is available free of charge at a nearby managed facility, not on-site. A paid airport shuttle can be arranged directly. The building has a lift and is equipped with CCTV, fire extinguishers, and electronic key card access for security. A safety deposit box is available free of charge. Services include concierge, private check-in/out, and lockers. A minimarket is located on-site. No pets are allowed, and no cots are confirmed.
