The hotel sits on a busy road near the I-75 and I-24 interchange, making it a convenient base for reaching downtown Chattanooga (15-20 minutes to Tennessee Aquarium, 16 km) and Ruby Falls. The immediate area is dense with restaurants and shops: Waffle House, Texas Roadhouse, Cracker Barrel, and several others are within 0.5 km, and Hamilton Place Mall is a short walk or drive. While the freeway is close for easy arrivals, road noise is constant day and night and can be felt in the rooms, especially those facing the road. The hotel is on a busy road with no traffic light at its exit, so turning left out of the lot can be challenging during peak times. The neighborhood includes a budget motel behind the property and a visible homeless presence in the area, particularly after dark. Parking is free but the lot is shared and can be tight; a large overflow lot is available behind the building.

All suites are spacious, with separate living and sleeping areas, a large work desk, and a sofa bed. The kitchen comes fully equipped: full-sized refrigerator, two-burner cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, and dishes. Two-bedroom suites have two bathrooms and can sleep up to 6-7 people. Some suites have an accessible (ADA-compliant) kitchen and bathroom. Rooms include air conditioning, heating, tea/coffee maker, ironing facilities, and a flat-screen TV. Bed comfort is generally high across all room types. The pull-out sofa bed is usable for an adult. However, room quality varies significantly by unit: some rooms have reported cleanliness issues (cockroaches, mold, dirty bathrooms), maintenance problems (non-locking doors, broken outlets, slow-draining tubs), and strong smoke or mildew smells. Corridor carpets and overall decor show heavy wear. Rooms on lower floors are more prone to noise from the laundry and parking lot. The two-bedroom suite with a king bed has a small sink space in the en-suite bathroom, while the second bedroom offers a more compact toilet and shower. A few rooms have suffered from visible water damage and musty odors, particularly on the 6th floor.

The indoor pool is heated and open year-round from 08:00-22:00. Pool/beach towels are provided. The pool area is small and has very limited seating (only 4 chairs). The water temperature can vary, and the chemical balance has occasionally been off. A well-equipped fitness centre is available free of charge with cardio and weight equipment. The hotel also has a garden, terrace with outdoor furniture, and BBQ facilities. Board games and puzzles are available for family use. The pool is especially popular with families during rainy days, providing indoor entertainment.
