STRAND HOTEL, Singapore

The Strand Hotel places you steps from Bencoolen MRT station on the Downtown Line, making travel to Changi Airport and Marina Bay straightforward. Bras Basah station is a 3-minute walk away, and Dhoby Ghaut station is a 5-minute walk. Fort Canning Park, the Singapore Art Museum and the Singapore Museum are all within a short walk. A food court is across the street, and there is a 7-Eleven convenience store nearby. Free private parking is available but the location is better suited to car-free exploration.

Breakfast is a continental buffet served in the breakfast room, including hot beverages, eggs, cold cuts and sweet pastries, but must be ordered the day before as the kitchen may not offer a daily walk-in service. There is no standard daily breakfast service, so guests who want a fixed morning meal should plan to eat at one of the many restaurants, food courts and cafes within a short walk from the hotel. The property also has a bar and a coffee house on site, and food delivery is accepted.

The hotel provides a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and tour desk. Free private parking is available on site and does not require a reservation. A business centre and fax/photocopying are offered for an additional charge. Laundry, dry cleaning and ironing services can be arranged at extra cost. Room service is available, and coffee and water are available for free in the lobby lounge. Key card access is required for the lift, and a safety deposit box is provided.
