STUDIO 6 SUITES LAS VEGAS, NV - TROPICANA, Las Vegas

The motel is situated on Tropicana Avenue, directly opposite the MGM Grand, and within a 10-15 minute walk to the New York-New York and Excalibur casino-resorts. McCarran International Airport is only 2 km away, making it a practical base for air travelers. The Las Vegas Convention Center is less than 5 km north. The immediate area includes a gas station, a small market, and several fast-food restaurants. The location is highly walkable for Strip access, though the intersection can be busy; a nearby bus line offers an alternative. Free on-site parking with reservation eliminates the need for paid Strip parking garages.

Guest rooms are small and reflect an older motel-style build. All rooms include air conditioning, heating, a private bathroom, and a TV with cable channels. Select rooms feature a kitchenette with a mini fridge and microwave, or a coffee machine - availability varies by room type, so confirm when booking. Premium rooms near the front may offer updated finishes and a pool view, but many standard rooms show wear: scuffed floors, stained furniture, and minimal storage. The bathroom and closet often share space; shelving is available but hanging space is limited. Noise from adjacent rooms, hallway activity, and outside traffic is common, especially in rooms facing the road or pool. The area surrounding the property can feel lively, with security and cameras present.

No meals are offered on-site. A complimentary coffee service is set up at the front desk each morning. For other food and drink, guests can use the on-site snack bar or vending machines. Several casual dining options are within a 5-minute walk, including a Denny's adjacent to the property, a market for groceries and drinks, and fast-food outlets such as Steak 'n Shake and Project Pie. For a wider selection, the MGM Grand across the street offers multiple restaurants and a food court. The lack of breakfast service means a trip to a nearby café or market is necessary for a morning meal.

The property's primary leisure amenity is a large outdoor swimming pool, which is heated and kept clean. It is surrounded by loungers and is open year-round, though seasonal conditions may affect comfort. There is no fitness centre, spa, or sauna. For entertainment, a casino is a 5-minute walk away. The pool area is a practical spot for cooling off after a day on the Strip, but travelers seeking full wellness facilities should plan to use amenities at nearby resort properties.
