The resort is situated directly on the Gulf of Mexico beachfront, with an 243.8 m walk from the lobby to the water. It sits on the main strip of Treasure Island, placing it within a short walk of numerous dining options such as Super Scoops Inc (0.5 km), BRGR Kitchen and Bar (0.5 km), and Gigi's Italian Restaurant (0.5 km). The location is also convenient for exploring St. Petersburg, which is about a 20-minute drive away. Tampa International Airport is approximately 30-40 minutes by car, depending on traffic. Public beach access and a boardwalk are right at the property's edge, making it easy to explore the area on foot or by bicycle.

Rooms vary by building and view. The gulf-front king room includes a full kitchen, while many other units feature a mini-kitchen with a stove or cooktop, dining table, and cookware. Some rooms offer shared balconies; contact the front desk for details on a specific unit. The poolside junior suite can be configured with two double beds or one king bed. Room amenities include air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee facilities, an in-room safe, and a sitting area. While many rooms have been renovated and feel fresh, some have been described as small and basic, with limited storage. For a quieter stay, request a room away from the courtyard and stairs, as noise from the pool and upper floors can carry.

The on-site restaurant operates daily from 08:00 to 23:00, offering an American menu in a family-friendly setting. The snack bar provides lighter options, including pizza and wings, and the bar serves a variety of drinks, including wine and champagne. Many nearby restaurants (within 0.5 km) provide additional dining variety. The resort also offers BBQ facilities that can be fired up upon request, allowing for outdoor cooking.

The resort features two year-round heated pools: one on the Gulf side and another on the Intracoastal, both open from 08:00 to 22:00. Both pools are saltwater and have adjacent sun loungers, umbrellas, and towel service.
