HOTEL TERMINUS MONTPARNASSE, Paris

The hotel is at the heart of the Montparnasse district, with the metro literally at the doorstep. This gives direct access to all of Paris: Orsay Museum (2 km), Louvre (30 minutes on foot), and Eiffel Tower (45 minutes by foot). Numerous restaurants, cafés, and shops line the surrounding streets, including Bouillon Chartier and other popular eateries within a three-minute walk. The area is safe and vibrant, with Luxembourg Gardens a pleasant walk away. For airport transfers, take the RER from Montparnasse station to Orly or Charles de Gaulle.

All rooms come with air conditioning, a minibar, flat-screen TV, private bathroom with hairdryer, and free Wi-Fi. Soundproof walls are present in most rooms, but noise from the metro and street can still be an issue - rooms away from the road or on higher floors tend to be quieter. The hotel offers a variety of room types: Business (13 m2, large bed, courtyard view, stairs only), Classic (13.6 m2, double bed, shower, courtyard view, stairs only), Classic Plus (13.8 m2, double bed, bathtub, extra storage), Club (up to 16 m2, double bed, bathtub, some connecting), Executive Triple (16 m2, double + single bed, shower, courtyard view), and Executive (up to 18 m2, twin beds, street or courtyard view, elevator accessible - one room adapted for reduced mobility). Some rooms feel tired and basic; cleanliness can vary. No electric kettles or balconies are available. For lift access, book a Club, Classic Plus, or Executive room.

The hotel provides free Wi-Fi in all areas, a 24-hour reception, and a lounge near the entrance for working or relaxing. A convertible room can serve as a meeting space for up to six people. Luggage storage is available 24/7 at no extra cost - useful for late departures or early arrivals. Pets are allowed on request (charges may apply). Additional services include room service (breakfast), ironing (extra charge), and fax/photocopying. Safety features include CCTV, smoke alarms, and a security alarm. There is no on-site parking, no spa, and no swimming pool. The hotel has a lift, but some rooms are only reachable via stairs - check when booking if elevator access is needed.
