The Beach Club on Madison Avenue sits in a quiet residential area of Cape May, about 1 km from the oceanfront. It is a 3-minute drive to the Washington Street Mall's shops and restaurants, and a 12-minute drive to Cape May National Golf Club. The seasonal local trolley stops directly in front of the property, providing easy access to the beach and downtown. Free private parking on-site means a car is convenient, but the beach, dining, and shopping are all walkable within about 15 minutes. Bikes are available to rent on the property for exploring further. For those arriving without a car, note that airport shuttle service is not offered.

All rooms feature a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, plus dishes and utensils. The king studio offers a courtyard view. Bathrooms include a spacious walk-in shower with rainfall head, though some lack ventilation fans and have no shower curtain or door. Heating and air conditioning are provided; the AC unit can blow directly onto the bed and its fan/light system may operate inconsistently. Rooms have limited hanging storage - no closets in many units - but offer ample drawer space. Soundproofing between rooms is limited; road-facing units and those near the ice machine may experience noise. Daily housekeeping is provided. Note: there are no rooms with a balcony or private bathroom (all bathrooms are en-suite).

The property does not have a restaurant or bar. Vending machines are available for beverages and packaged snacks. Each room's kitchenette - with a full refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker - makes it easy to prepare simple meals. Several casual eateries and a supermarket are within a 10-15 minute walk, and the Washington Street Mall area (3 minutes by car) offers a variety of dining options. The seasonal complimentary beach setup at sister property La Mer includes the option to order lunch there while on the beach.

The outdoor pool is heated and features a shallow end, fenced perimeter, and a cover. It is open seasonally from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, weather permitting. The adjacent hot tub is also seasonal; its temperature may not reach typical hot tub levels. Pool opening hours are 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The sun deck offers padded loungers and umbrellas. A picnic area with tables and a barbecue grill is available. The property also provides complimentary beach chairs, towels, and umbrella setup at the sister property, La Mer (beach tags required, $10/day). On-site amenities include bike rentals, walking tours, and access to off-site cycling and fishing.

WiFi is free throughout the property but may be unreliable for streaming. Free private parking is available on-site with no reservation needed; accessible parking spaces are marked. Daily housekeeping is provided. The front desk is staffed from 11:00 to 19:00; outside those hours, guests must go to La Mer for assistance. Check-in is 16:00-19:00, with after-hours key pickup at La Mer. The property has a designated smoking area, 24-hour security with key access and smoke alarms, and facilities for disabled guests.
