The public beach is directly across the boardwalk, with beach chair and umbrella rentals available. A boardwalk tram and city bus provide paid transport to attractions further south. Restaurants, miniature golf, and shops are within a short walk. Assateague Island National Park is a 30-minute drive, and Berlin, Maryland, is a few minutes away.

Each room includes a microwave, refrigerator, tea and coffee facilities, flat-screen TV with cable, air conditioning, and a seating area. Some rooms offer oceanfront views or partial ocean views. Bathrooms are compact with limited counter space; daily housekeeping is provided. Bed comfort varies - some find the mattresses firm. Some units have been remodeled. Handicap-accessible rooms have two double beds and no sofa bed. Adjoining rooms are available on request.
