The hostel is just off Avinguda del Paral*lel, with the Paral*lel metro station at the end of the street providing direct connections to the city centre and Sagrada Família (20 minutes). Las Ramblas and Plaça Reial are a 10- to 15-minute walk away; Montjuïc hill is 900 metres south. Regular airport buses depart from Plaça d'Espanya, 1 km on foot. The immediate area is lively, with many tapas bars, restaurants, and a supermarket within metres. Despite the busy street, the hostel itself sits on a quieter side street, though rooms facing the road can pick up noise from bars until late.

Dormitory beds come with a reading lamp, personal plug socket, and large in-room locker (bring your own padlock or buy one at reception). Privacy curtains are fitted on lower bunks only. Air conditioning is installed in all rooms, though units near the door can leave beds directly under the airflow feeling cold; window-side bunks may need windows open for ventilation, increasing street noise. Rooms can feel cramped when the large lockers are in use and when luggage is left on the floor. Bed linen is included and changed between stays. The private twin/double room - located in the main hostel - has a private bathroom and is priced the same for one or two guests (tourist tax applies per person). The separate studio apartments include a kitchen with fridge, microwave, and electric kettle, a private bathroom, and a sofa. Both dorm and studio bathrooms may show signs of ageing, and in some cases, mould and limited hot water have been noted.

The hostel does not operate a restaurant or breakfast service. A free dinner is offered every evening at 9 PM, followed by drinking games and a pub crawl with free club entry. The communal kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with two fridges, a stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, utensils, and cookware - ideal for preparing meals. Many tapas bars and restaurants are within a 2-minute walk along Blai and nearby streets, offering plenty of affordable dining options.

Wellness facilities are limited to a rooftop sun terrace with outdoor furniture and city views. The hostel runs a daily free walking tour covering a different part of the city each morning, and organises evening activities - free dinner, drinking games, and pub crawls to local bars and clubs with free entry. Occasional extra activities such as yoga or paella/sangria classes are available for a small cost.

The 24-hour reception desk allows for hassle-free late check-in (dorm check-in until 1 AM) and early departures. Free luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out. Free Wi-Fi is accessible in the public areas and works reliably. The shared kitchen, rooftop terrace, and lounge area are open until 11 PM, after which the common areas are closed to ensure quiet for sleeping. Laundry service is available for an additional charge. The property is adults-only, non-smoking throughout, and equipped with a lift. Safety deposit boxes, fire extinguishers, and in-room lockers provide basic security. Towels can be rented for €2, and padlocks are sold at reception. No parking, no airport shuttle, and no pets are allowed.
