THE MARKER HOTEL, London

The hotel is on Gower Street, a 15-minute walk from Euston Station, Covent Garden, and multiple underground stations. Goodge Street (Northern line) is a 200-metre walk, and the Elizabeth line is reachable within 10 minutes from Tottenham Court Road. This central positioning makes the West End, Soho, theatre district, and St James's Park easily accessible on foot. Taxi routes are straightforward but some areas have temporary bus changes; the 24-hour reception can help with route planning. For Heathrow transfers, the Elizabeth line connection is convenient. Parking is not available, so arriving by taxi, public transport, or on foot is recommended.

Breakfast includes a selection of fruit salad, yoghurt, pastries, cereal, and a hot cooked English breakfast (bacon, sausage, eggs, beans, mushrooms, toast). A vegetarian option with tomatoes and mushrooms is available. The full English is cooked to order per person. Breakfast is served in a small dining room that requires a booking for a time slot; early slots fill up quickly. The continental buffet is self-serve with pastries, yoghurt, fruit, and coffee (instant coffee bags are used). No fresh coffee or hot chocolate is available on the buffet. The dining room is small and seating is limited.

The hotel has a small garden area at the rear, which some rooms overlook. This garden provides a pleasant backdrop for rooms and can make those rooms feel quieter. The property is on a relatively quiet street and within walking distance of many parks and green spaces, including Regent's Park (about 30 minutes on foot). No spa, pool, gym, or other leisure facilities are on site.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. The 24-hour front desk can store luggage before check-in and after check-out until 10:00 pm on the day of departure. Luggage storage is free but uses a basic system; it is advisable to keep track of belongings. A daily cleaning service is provided, but it may not always include towel replacement unless requested. Hairdryers are available on request. The hotel is non-smoking throughout and does not accept pets. Accepted payment methods include American Express, Visa, Diners Club, Maestro, and MasterCard. No additional caution is charged upon arrival.
