THE PEOPLE PARIS BELLEVILLE, Paris

The hostel sits in the heart of Belleville, a lively, multicultural neighbourhood known for its street art, affordable dining, and local markets. Couronnes Metro station (line 2) is 120 metres away, and Belleville station (lines 2 and 11) is about 300 metres away, providing direct access to central Paris attractions within 20 minutes. Pere Lachaise Cemetery and Parc des Buttes-Chaumont are a 15-minute walk, and Place de la République is 1 km away. Orly Airport is 20 km from the property; CDG Airport is about a 1-hour journey by RER B and metro. The area is generally safe and well-connected, though night-time noise from the bar and street market can be noticeable.

Private rooms feature queen-size beds, private bathrooms, and closets; premium doubles include towels and are ideally located for rooftop views. Family rooms cater to 4-8 guests with private bathrooms. Dormitories have shared bathrooms (male/female separated per floor) with showers and toilets; each bed includes a privacy curtain, reading light, and power outlet. Lockers under beds (bring your own padlock or buy one for 5 EUR) are deep enough for an 81cm suitcase. Rooms are compact but functional, with parquet floors and heating. Some rooms have terraces or city views. Noise from the bar can be heard in lower-floor rooms; rooms on upper floors (especially rooftops) are quieter.

The ground-floor snack bar and lounge offers a menu of shared platters, hot meals, and nostalgic snacks, plus house-roasted coffee and locally brewed beers. Breakfast is a buffet-style option available from 07:00 to 10:00, costing 10 EUR per person (a small formula of 5 EUR is bookable on site). The breakfast includes bread, pastries, cereal, and hot drinks; guests with dietary restrictions should plan accordingly as options are limited. The surrounding Belleville neighbourhood is filled with diverse and affordable restaurants (Korean, Vietnamese, African, Tunisian, and more), all within a 5-minute walk.
