The Steady offers a variety of rooms including dormitory rooms (5 beds) and private rooms. Private rooms are available only for families or groups. The double room includes one bed, and the triple room has three beds. All rooms have access to a shared bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. Dormitories feature a dining area, microwave, and air conditioning. Each room provides hand soap and hand dryers in the toilets and lavatories. Lockers are available for guest use on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests are pre-assigned a bunk bed during check-in.

The Steady provides several common areas for guests. A shared lounge is available, along with a kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator. The common area also features a microwave, complimentary coffee and tea, and filtered drinking water. A shared lounge and an ATM are available. Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the property at no charge. Luggage storage is available, and there is a microwave in a common area. Guests can purchase earplugs at the Front Desk.

The Steady offers bright shared spaces. The common areas are under video surveillance for your protection. The hostel is equipped with central air and heat. For safety, the use of fire escapes and fire extinguishers is allowed only in emergencies. Guests who cause a false alarm will be responsible for all costs. The Steady is not responsible for personal injury resulting from guest behavior. Guests may stay for 14 consecutive nights per 90 days.

The Steady is located in the Hollywood district of Los Angeles, steps from Melrose Avenue and a 4-minute drive from Pantages Theatre. It is located near the neighborhoods of Silver Lake, Koreatown, and Echo Park. The Vermont/Santa Monica Metro Station is 0.5 miles away, with train fare at $1.75 each way. The Flyaway Bus provides service to LAX and Union Station for $9 each way. Ride-sharing services like Lyft or Uber from LAX average $25-$35. Nearby landmarks include the Cheese Store of Silver Lake (2 km), Los Globos (2 km), and Hollywood Forever Cemetery (2 km).

The Steady provides guests with access codes to the front entrance. Multilingual staff are available. The hostel offers tour/ticket assistance. All staff members wear protective masks and gloves on hostel premises. Guests can use ride-sharing services or the train to explore. Front desk hours are 9AM to 9PM. Self check-in is available for after hours.
