The neighbourhood is calm yet steps from multiple metro and JR lines, including the Yamanote and Chiyoda lines, making it simple to reach Ueno Park, the Tokyo National Museum, and Akihabara. Numerous restaurants, convenience stores, and the lively Ameyoko market are within a three-minute walk. Ueno Zoo and the National Museum of Western Art are a ten-minute walk away. For airport connections, Narita is about 50 minutes via Keisei Skyliner from Ueno Station, and Haneda is about 50 minutes by train and monorail. There is no on-site parking; the area is best explored on foot or by transit.

Room types range from compact singles to spacious family suites. Semi-double beds (120 cm wide) are standard in double rooms, while twin rooms offer two or three beds. Deluxe family rooms feature futons on tatami and can accommodate up to four adults. Some rooms have been renovated and feel modern; others show signs of age. Road-facing rooms may experience street noise; interior-facing rooms are quieter. A few rooms have limited natural light due to close neighbouring structures - confirm window type at booking if daylight is important. All rooms are air-conditioned, non-smoking, and come with an electric kettle, hairdryer, and basic toiletries. Extra beds are available in certain room types. No rooms have a balcony or in-room safe.

Breakfast is available for an additional 1500 JPY and includes Asian-style options. Fushimi-Tei and Cafe Terrace Ruru provide the meal; the coffee shop also gives a 10% discount to guests. The hotel has a Japanese restaurant on the premises. For lunch and dinner, the surrounding area offers a wide range of eateries - from traditional Japanese and Italian to quick snacks at convenience stores - all within a short walk.

For relaxation, paid massage sessions can be arranged. No fitness centre, spa, or pool is available. Coin-operated laundry machines are located on the basement floor. Bicycle rental is available at an additional charge, ideal for exploring nearby Ueno Park and the Akihabara area. The walkable neighbourhood itself provides plenty of leisure and cultural attractions.
