Located in a calm residential area of Arakawa, within 8-12 minutes' walk of multiple train stations linking to central Tokyo, Asakusa, Ueno and Narita Airport.

Minami-Senju Station (JR Joban Line, Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, Tsukuba Express) and Senju-Ohashi Station (Keisei Line) are both about 8-10 minutes on foot, offering direct rail connections to Asakusa, Ueno and Akihabara within 10 minutes. A bus stop for routes to Asakusa is 5 minutes away. By car, Roppongi and the Imperial Palace are about 25 minutes away; Haneda Airport is approximately 35 minutes, Narita Airport about 75 minutes. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet, with several convenience stores, a supermarket, and a pharmacy within a short walk. Kita-Senju station (5 minutes by train) has a wide range of restaurants and shopping.

Accommodation

Small private rooms (single, semi-double, double, twin and bunk-bed options) with shared bathrooms on each floor. Air conditioning, heating, and a flat-screen TV are standard.

All rooms are private but compact - the semi-double has a 120 cm wide bed. Rooms are kept clean daily, but some have thin walls and can be affected by noise from neighbouring rooms and corridors; earplugs are available from staff. Toilet and bathroom facilities are shared: there are two 24-hour shared shower rooms per floor, plus a large Japanese-style public bath available from 6:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The property has no lift - only stairs - and no rooms have private bathrooms or balconies. The small size means a large suitcase may need to be stored partly unpacked, but the double room offers more floor space for luggage.

Dining

No on-site restaurant, but the shared kitchen is well-equipped for preparing meals. Breakfast is available to select at booking for certain room types.

Most guests use the kitchen for breakfast or light meals, or eat at convenience stores (7-Eleven is within a block) or at one of the many affordable eateries around Minami-Senju and Kita-Senju stations. Two nearby sit-down restaurants - Tokuda-Ya Shokudo and Jirocho - are about 0.5 km away.

The hotel has a traditional Japanese-style bath (a small onsen) that can be booked for 30-minute private slots from 6:00 PM to 11:30 PM - free of charge and a welcome treat for tired feet. Two 24-hour shared shower rooms are also available. There is no swimming pool, spa, gym or other dedicated leisure facility on site. The quiet neighbourhood is good for morning jogs along the nearby Arakawa river path.
