The location is the property's strongest asset. JR Ueno Station (5 min) and JR Okachimachi Station (3 min) provide direct access to central Tokyo lines, while Keisei Ueno Station offers a 40-minute direct Sky Liner to Narita Airport. Ueno Park, Ueno Zoo, Tokyo National Museum, and the National Museum of Western Art are a 10-minute walk. Asakusa, Akihabara, and Ginza are reachable by a 10-minute subway or train ride; Tsukiji Fish Market is a 12-minute subway ride. The immediate area is packed with restaurants, bars, and shops, and is lively day and night. The building is located within the market itself, so prepare for crowds and street noise during the day.

Accommodation is in capsule-style bunk beds. Standard capsules (approx. 90 cm wide) on floors 6-7 are older and more cramped, with worn tatami and limited ventilation. Premium capsules (120 cm wide) are available on floors 1-5 and offer noticeably more space. Each pod has a TV (with headphones), radio, alarm clock, and a small personal locker for valuables (too small for large backpacks). Larger luggage is stored on a specific floor. Capsules lack individual airflow; the pod can become hot and stuffy, especially on upper bunks. Sound insulation is minimal and the open-plan layout means noise from others is common. Earplugs are advised for light sleepers. Lower bunks are cooler and quieter than upper ones. The property provides daily housekeeping, free pajamas, and two fresh hand towels per day.

The property does not offer any breakfast, restaurant, or bar service. Vending machines provide drinks and cup noodles, and there is a microwave for guest use. Because the hotel is embedded in the Ameyoko market, hundreds of eateries - from ramen shops to sushi bars to street-food stalls - are within a 2-5 minute walk, many open late into the night. This makes it easy to eat in or take food back to the shared lounge. The 24-hour front desk does not sell meals, so plan all food needs outside the property.

The wellness area is the hotel's standout feature. The large hot bath (sento), sauna, and cold-water bath are open around the clock, and the sauna sometimes features an aufguss ceremony. The changing room provides free toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body soap, razors, toothbrushes). Towels are provided but are small face towels only - no bath towels. The public bath is the only showering option; there are no private showers. A relaxation room with reclining massage chairs and a manga library is available on site. Although there is no dedicated gym, some basic exercise equipment (kettlebell, pull-up bar) has been mentioned on one floor. The property also features a small zen garden area and a lounge with vending machines and a microwave.

Wi-Fi is free throughout. The 24-hour front desk handles check-in/out, holds keys, and stores luggage. Luggage storage is free before check-in and until 23:00 on check-out day; overnight storage costs 500 JPY per bag per night. Coin laundry (wash 300 JPY, dryer 100 JPY per 30 min) is available, with detergent sold separately. Lockers are provided in sleeping areas but are small - oversized bags and snowboards can be stored at reception or on a designated free luggage space. Daily housekeeping is included.
