The resort is set in a wooded valley along Gore Creek, providing a quiet and scenic base. Vail Mountain ski area is a 5 km drive or a short ride on the free town bus, which stops at two locations right on the property and drops passengers at both Ford Park and Vail Village. The Vail Golf Course is 3 km away, and many hiking trails are accessible directly from the property or a short walk away. For those who prefer to drive, free parking is available on site, and the resort is about 10 minutes from central Vail.

Each individually owned and decorated unit includes a fully equipped kitchen, flat-screen TV, free WiFi, and a gas fireplace (except junior one-bedroom units). Many have private balconies or patios, some overlooking Gore Creek. Bedding is typically queen in the master (king on occasion but not guaranteed), with twin or queen beds in additional bedrooms. Units are spread across walk-up buildings of up to three levels with no elevator, so ground-floor units are easier. Unit condition and amenities vary by owner - some are newly renovated while others show older furnishings. Rooms facing the road can have traffic noise; the quietest units are in buildings 10-12 facing the creek.

Après Café is open Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12:00 to 21:00, offering American cuisine and a bar with pizza and other casual options. Picnic areas and barbecue grills are available on the property for outdoor cooking. The Mountain Shoppe sells basic supplies and fitness apparel. Breakfast is not served on site, but the fully equipped kitchens in every apartment make self-catering easy.

The health club includes a fitness centre with cardio and strength equipment, yoga classes, and a spa offering massage services (additional charge). Locker rooms provide day lockers, showers, sauna, and steam room. Outside, there is a heated seasonal pool (fenced, with views), three hot tubs, sun loungers, and pool towels. Seven tennis courts (three clay) and three pickleball courts are available seasonally. A children's playground and hiking trails nearby provide additional family recreation. The pool and hot tubs require a reservation as part of the club's published rules.

WiFi is free in all rooms. Parking is free and private on site (no reservation needed), with 8 electric vehicle charging stations. A free town shuttle (not a property shuttle) stops at two locations on site and provides transport to Vail Village and other stops. Four coin-operated laundry rooms are located around the property; some units have in-unit washer/dryers. Luggage storage and lockers are available.
