Aspen Pitkin County Airport is a 10-minute drive away, and Aspen Snowmass Ski Resort is 20 minutes by car. The lodge sits on a city bus route that connects to all Aspen ski areas, and the free bus runs every 15 minutes. Nearby dining includes Jacks Restaurant (0.5 km), Steak House No 316, Matsuhisa, French Alpine Bistro, and Brunelleschi's Dome Pizza (all within 0.5 km). The area is highly walkable, with the Silver Queen Gondola about a 10-minute walk. Free on-site parking reduces the need for a car, but the bus system makes car-free stays easy.

All rooms feature full kitchenettes with a hob, refrigerator, microwave, and cookware. Private bathrooms are standard, with walk-in showers and baths in some rooms. Each room includes cable TV, free Wi-Fi, a tea and coffee maker, a seating area, and heating. There is no air conditioning - windows provide ventilation. For other meals, dozens of dining options are within a short walk on Main Street and around downtown Aspen, including steakhouses, sushi, French bistro, and pizza. The kitchenette in each room allows for self-catering, which can be a budget-friendly option.

The lodge offers free bicycle rental, a great way to explore Aspen. Hiking trails are within reach, and skiing is a major draw - ski storage is free, and ski school is available for an additional charge. A golf course is within 3 km (fees apply). On the property, there are BBQ facilities, a picnic area, and outdoor furniture. Cycling off-site is also popular. For relaxation, the lodge provides a peaceful environment but does not have a pool, spa, or fitness centre.
