VALENCIA CENTRO SUITE, Valencia

This central position places you steps from Turia Gardens, Serranos Towers, the Cathedral, and the Central Market. The immediate area is lively, with multiple restaurants, a jazz bar, and a pizzeria within a 300-metre radius. Despite the central bustle, the street itself is quiet enough for a good night's sleep if the main bedroom is used. Valencia Airport is 9 km away; the owner can arrange a fixed-fare taxi for airport transfers.

The main bedroom has a comfortable double bed. The second sleeping option is a sofa bed in the living room, which is best suited for children due to its thin, sagging mattress and protruding springs. The bathroom is compact and layout means the shower area lacks a full separation, so the WC area can get wet; the mirror is mounted high and the ceiling paint shows wear from steam. The kitchen is equipped with a hob, microwave, large pots, and a washing machine, but lacks small saucepans and tea towels. Decoration is modern and spacious, and air conditioning is provided, though travellers should confirm its working order before arrival given past power issues in hot weather.

The kitchen includes a hob, microwave, and large cookware for self-catering, though small pans are not supplied. Immediate surroundings feature eight eateries all within 300 metres, including Restaurante Jamon Jamon, Thistinto Gastrobar, La Catalina, Spuntino Pizzeria, and a jazz bar. This density makes dining out extremely convenient, covering Spanish cuisine, pizza, and tapas without needing to travel.

Reception is not staffed 24/7 but the owner, Antonella, is responsive and available via message for check-in, recommendations, and arranging luggage drop-off before the 15:00 check-in. The apartment is a non-smoking unit throughout. Cleaning and basic supplies like toilet paper are provided on arrival, though the overall maintenance standard is basic. The property has a keyless entry system for convenience. No parking is available, so city-centre exploration is best done on foot or by tram.
