Public transport stops within 500 metres serve the airport, downtown, and UBC. A bus route runs directly along South Granville, making car-free access practical for city centre trips (around 30 minutes by bus). For drivers, free on-street parking is plentiful and no reservation is needed. The area is safe and quiet, with a short walk to shops and restaurants, though the immediate vicinity is residential so a car or bus is advisable for most errands.

The homestay offers economy double rooms with shared bathrooms, double rooms with private bathrooms, and quadruple rooms with two beds (shared bathroom). All rooms include a kitchenette (refrigerator, microwave, tea and coffee maker, kitchenware), washing machine, minibar, outdoor dining area, and complimentary chocolate. Room sizes vary: some are described as spacious with comfortable beds, while a few are noted as compact - particularly the economy double. Air conditioning is not present in all rooms; some units rely on small windows for ventilation. Heating is available.
