VERDI 254, Barcelona

The property sits on a hill in the Gracia neighbourhood, a quieter area away from the main tourist centre. Barcelona El Prat Airport is 15 km away. Lesseps metro station is within 10 minutes on foot, providing direct connections to the city centre in 10-15 minutes. Several bus stops are just downhill. Attractions such as La Pedrera (3 km), Sagrada Familia (3 km), and Casa Batllo (3 km) are accessible by metro or a 30-minute downhill walk. The immediate area has a handful of cafés and a supermarket within 0.5 km, though food options are limited directly around the property. The steep uphill walk to the hotel is a notable factor, especially for travellers with heavy luggage or limited mobility.

The property offers single, double, and twin rooms. Double rooms have a shared bathroom; twin rooms have a private bathroom. Both options include a hairdryer and air conditioning. Some rooms feature a balcony or terrace overlooking the garden. Room sizes vary, with some described as compact and others as spacious. The building retains original features such as hydraulic tiles and high ceilings, but the overall condition is older and basic in finish. Noise can be an issue: road-facing rooms may admit light through incomplete blinds, and interior doors without stoppers can bang. Ear plugs are provided on pillows. There are no TVs or safes in rooms, but access to a shared fridge is available.

The property has a garden with Mediterranean plants and a shared terrace on the first floor, plus a rooftop terrace with city views. These spaces are furnished with tables and chairs for relaxing or eating outdoors. There is no pool, gym, spa, or on-site leisure facilities beyond the outdoor seating areas. The surrounding neighbourhood is quiet and suitable for walks to Park Güell (7 min) and the nearby Lesseps metro area.

WiFi is available free of charge in all areas. Luggage storage is offered after check-out. Bed linens and towels are provided, though towel replacement requires a request. Daily room cleaning is not automatic and must be requested. The shared bathrooms are cleaned regularly, but cleaning can be inconsistent. Cots are available on request. No parking is available on site. The property accepts American Express, Visa, Maestro, and MasterCard. There is no safe in the rooms. The main entrance door lock has been reported as unreliable, but the external gate lock functions normally.
